Agile Management Systems has delivered a landmark year of growth, completing major projects across Scotland’s energy, education, and commercial sectors while preparing to open a new operational base in Tillicoultry.
A key driver of this success has been the strengthened collaboration with Wagstaff Interiors Group — the UK’s largest office‑interiors specialist. Their national design and workplace capability is complemented by Agile Management Systems’ 40+ years of construction and fit‑out experience, enabling both organisations to deliver fully integrated, technically robust solutions across some of the most complex live environments in the country.
Building on this partnership, Agile Management Systems delivered three substantial projects for SSE Renewables. These included the creation of a new office facility in Lerwick and the refurbishment of conference and kitchen facilities at the Sloy and Foyers hydroelectric power stations on Loch Lomond and Loch Ness. Each project required careful coordination within live operational environments and demonstrated the company’s capability in delivering technically demanding refurbishment programmes.
The business also completed a key commission for Fife College’s new Dunfermline campus, supplying and installing bespoke storage wall systems designed to support the needs of a modern educational facility. The project combined precision manufacturing with detailed onsite installation to deliver durable, high‑capacity storage solutions.
In the energy sector, Agile Management Systems undertook its most ambitious project to date: the full refurbishment of SGN’s Axis House headquarters in Newbridge. Delivered through a five‑stage decant programme, the project involved the sequential strip‑out and refurbishment of each wing while the remainder of the building remained fully operational. Works included electrical upgrades, ventilation improvements, full redecoration, reflooring, new meeting rooms, acoustic enhancements, refreshed kitchen and tea‑preparation areas, and the installation of solar‑control blinds — all completed without disruption to SGN’s day‑to‑day operations.
The company’s partnership with SGN continues into 2026, with new projects commencing in Stornoway, Elgin, and Galashiels. These works further strengthen Agile Management Systems’ growing role in supporting Scotland’s energy infrastructure.
The new financial year also brings an expanded portfolio of work across the central belt, including new commissions for Scottish Forestry and specialist joinery works in the prestigious headquarters building for The R&A in St Andrews.
In response to this sustained growth, Agile Management Systems is establishing a new office in Tillicoultry. From 5 May 2026, operations will be based in the former Clydesdale Bank building, bringing commercial activity back into this historic property and providing a dedicated hub to support increasing demand across the region.
